Intellectual property

All elements comprising the PipeCraft website — including texts, interfaces, layouts, illustrations, photographs, logos, trademarks, databases and any documentation — are protected under French and international intellectual property law (Articles L.111-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code).

These elements are the exclusive property of the publisher or its rights holders. Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation, translation, extraction or reuse, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation, is strictly prohibited and constitutes infringement punishable under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Decompilation, disassembly and reverse engineering of the underlying software are prohibited, except in cases provided for by Article L.122-6-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code.

Personal data

The publisher undertakes to process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU 2016/679) and French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended.

Data retention periods

Upon expiry of these periods, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Technical backups are retained for a limited period and purged according to a secure rotation cycle.

Cookies and trackers

In accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and CNIL recommendations, PipeCraft uses strictly necessary trackers only, exempt from prior consent:

Session cookie — maintains authentication during browsing. Deleted when the browser is closed. Deleting this cookie logs you out without deleting your account.
🎨
Theme preference (pc-theme) — interface preference tracker (light/dark), stored in the browser localStorage. No transmission to the server, no advertising tracking.

No advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies are placed. This data may be deleted at any time from your browser settings.

Data security

The publisher implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access:

Encrypted transport — access to the Service via the web interface is protected by HTTPS.

Hashed passwords — no password is stored in plain text; a robust, state-of-the-art algorithm is used.

Brute-force protection — authentication routes are protected by a rate-limiting mechanism.

Logging — access and anomalies are logged to detect any security incident.

In the event of a data breach likely to pose a risk to your rights and freedoms, the publisher undertakes to notify the CNIL within 72 hours (Art. 33 GDPR) and to inform you without undue delay if the risk is high. Any breach is documented internally in accordance with Article 33(5) of the GDPR.

Liability limitation

The publisher endeavours to ensure the accuracy and currency of information published on the website, without guaranteeing its completeness or suitability for any particular use.

Within the limits permitted by applicable mandatory legal provisions, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages resulting from use of or inability to access the website; decisions taken on the basis of published information; service interruptions for maintenance or security reasons; content of third-party websites to which hyperlinks may point. Linking to a third-party website does not constitute endorsement of that website.

This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct attributable to the publisher, nor to liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Applicable law & jurisdiction

This website and this legal notice are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing amicable resolution, the competent courts shall be those determined under applicable legal rules, including consumer law where relevant.
